    Q. Saturday 25th April is Anzac Day. Which of the following best describes what you will do on Anzac Day?

    23% of respondents said they would attend an Anzac day event and 29% said they would watch the march on TV. 35% said it was just a holiday or were working. These results are much the same as last year’s.

    66% of those aged 55+ said they would be attending an event or watching on TV compared to 41% of those aged under 35. 36% of those aged under 35 say it is just a public holiday.

    21% of respondents said they would attend an Anzac day event and 31% said they would watch the march on TV. 34% said it was just a holiday or were working.

    63% of those aged 55+ said they would be attending an event or watching on TV compared to 40% of those aged under 35. 36% of those aged under 35 say it is just a public holiday and 13% said they would be working.

    (Last year’s question was asked over the Anzac weekend, so is not strictly comparable – the “don’t knows” are lower as some respondents completed the survey after Anzac Day.)

    Only 11% of those aged under 35 attended an event compared to 22% of those aged 55+.
