Queensland. At 6.30 am Greenpeace escalated its calls for real action on climate change by shutting down coal loading at the Hay Point Coal Terminal in Mackay. The activists from countries including New Zealand, Fiji, the Solomon Islands, Australia and the Cook Islands scaled a 50-metre high coal loader and locked on to the structure to stop its operation.
