79% thought it is important for parents to involve their children in extra-curricular activities, 66% thought it is important for a child’s development not to place too many expectations on them, and 61% thought that raising a child is more challenging these days than it has been in the past.
All statements received greater support than opposition, with the exception of “the best support a friend can provide in parenting is advice, rather than help”, which was supported by 27%, and opposed by 32%.
