42% of respondents said the political party is the main influence on their vote at Federal elections – 21% say they are mostly influenced by the individual candidate and 20% by the party leader.
Those most influenced by the candidate’s political party has dropped 5% since April 2013.
Liberal/National voters (50%), Greens voters (60%), those aged 55+ (53%) and university educated (48%) were more likely to say they are influenced by the candidate’s political party.
