Paul Bastian has been the National President of the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union since December 2009 and was appointed National Secretary in March 2012. Paul is a Shipwright by trade and holds a Law Degree from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Cate is the Women in Super National Chair, a Director of Care Super and a member of the ACT Treasury Investment Advisory Board and the AIST Board. Cate is also Chair of the ACT WIS Mother’s Day Classic organising committee.
Nadine Flood is National Secretary of the Community and Public Sector Union, one of the most active and innovative trade unions in Australia. Nadine began as an organiser with the CPSU in 1995, representing members across government agencies and in Telstra.
Nadine has represented CPSU members in agencies such as DEEWR, ABS and the APSC as well as directing the CPSU’s involvement in the Your Rights at Work campaign.
Tony is the national leader of the Transport Workers Union of Australia, a position he has held since 2006. He is a graduate of the Harvard University Trade Union program and currently sits on the NSW Labor Council Executive.
