Nearly half the respondents think that technological advances have been positive for national security (48%) and culture/entertainment (46%), However, they were divided over job security (23% agree/35% disagree) and personal relationships (26%/27%).
Since this question was asked last year, there has been a drop in agreement that advances have been positive across all items.
